Barcelona's sporting director, Decoux, commented on the fact that 18-year-old midfielder Lucas Bergvall, who was close to joining the Catalan club, chose at the last moment to continue his career at Tottenham.

"We have a clear plan: we intend to sign only those players who really want to play for Barcelona. Yes, we were negotiating for Bergvall, but we are also monitoring other talents, so the press is paying too much attention to this situation," The Sun quoted Deck as saying.
